How to easily remove sweat stains from clothes?

Are you dealing with sweat stains on your clothes? Well, welcome to the club! I must say out of all stains that can occur on my clothes the sweat ones are my least favourite. They aren’t that easy to remove and they come in combination with a bad smell which is something we need to keep in mind when removing them.

I have tried a lot of different ways to remove those yellow armpit stains, however, very few actually work. For example, I have tried using chlorine bleach on white shirts and I did not see any results.

Here is the one thing that actually removes sweat stains!

As I said, I have tried a lot of different methods and very rarely does something actually work with these stubborn stains!

I found one recipe which I decided to try since it looked quite promising due to the ingredients – and I am really happy to announce that it worked!

The recipe for this stain remover is quite simple – lemon juice, water, salt, and baking soda.

I recommend you combine the ingredients in a lidded jar so that you can store it and use later (equal parts of water and lemon juice, 1/2 tablespoon of salt, 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda).

Then dip an old toothbrush in the mixture and start scrubbing the stain. You can also allow the cleaner to sit for an hour on the affected area before you wash the clothing item.

Once you have washed the clothing piece – allow it to air dry. Don’t throw it in the dryer because if the stain isn’t removed completely then the heat from the dryer will make it even harder for you to remove later.

Once dry – observe the stained area to determine whether the stain is completely removed or it still remains. If it remains then you should repeat the steps and scrub it one more time with the cleaner!
