Deep cleaning is never a fun experience – it is time-consuming and requires a lot of energy. But regardless of this fact – it’s still really important for a clean and hygienic home.
One of the areas which require a deep clean the most is the kitchen. The appliances are used every day and they are often neglected for long periods of time.
Today, I want to show you how I deep clean my fridge using only natural ingredients!
How I Deep Clean My Fridge?
When I think of deep cleaning my kitchen the first thing that comes to my mind is my fridge. It’s the appliance that people clean the least – but that needs to change! After all, it’s where you store your food and if you want to avoid food poisoning then cleaning and disinfecting is crucial!
Now, all you need is vinegar, dish soap, and a few cleaning tools like an old toothbrush and microfiber cloths!
Start with unplugging your fridge and removing all the food. Check for expired products and throw them away.
Then continue with disassembling all the removable parts since we will soak them in hot soapy water. If you happen to have a bathtub then I recommend washing them there.
Then you need to mix a cup of vinegar, a cup of water, and two teaspoons of dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray the interior of your fridge and start scrubbing with the toothbrush. This solution will both clean and disinfect which is why I like using it so much.
Once you are done with cleaning you should grab a damp microfiber cloth and wipe the interior.
Assemble everything back together and organize the food back in the fridge!
